CERTAIN FOODS AND BEVERAGES CAN TRIGGER REFLUX SYMPTOMS. TRY TO AVOID:

Fried food
Chocolate
Alcohol
Fatty foods
Caffeine
Spicy foods
Carbonated beverages
Mint
Citrus and tomato-based foods

HOW AND WHEN TO EAT:

Eat smaller more frequent meals
Take your time, sit upright, chew your food well
Avoid overeating
Wait 2-3 hours after eating to lie down

Set realistic goals for weight loss, carrying less weight can decrease the pressure in your abdomen
